Not too much to talk about right now basically because i really haven’t done anything. This weekend i basically chilled out did not really focus on playing online. I tried to take a break from poker for the weekend, which unexpectedly ended thursday when on friday my internet was slow as fuck. Which i believe wholeheartedly is caused by one of my housemates. And i have reason to believe this; the internet works great when he is not home, and after i talked to him and told him it was slow (which in order to make a point i had to unplug the internet for over 10 minutes) magically after i told him and gave the ultamatum the internet became fast again. Well this was not what i really wanted to talk about what i do want to talk about is Ben Stein’s new documentary “Expelled”.
This movie ”Expelled” from what the trailer portrays is that the leftist media heavily favors the evolutionary theory (it was proven) and basically causes anyone in media that supports creationism or intellegent design to lose their jobs. I couldn’t even sit through the trailer because this scumbag of a so called educated man who does not understand evolution keeps saying that people are mud. And points to us and all animals thinking, walking, breathing, and talking to be caused by a “loving creator” (his words not mine). Now i assume this man is a Jew, based on his last name Stein and just doesnt understand his own religious book. In which his “loving creator” commits infanticide, human sacrifice, genocide to basically force people to believe in him. I can’t see anyone who would do that can actually be acussed of loving the people whom he commits those acts towards. Well, despite the astrological signs in the Torah and Bible, and the numerous of other polytheistic religions that have similar religious figures as the ones in both the torah and the bible, of course forget all the fossils of extinct animals and dinosaurs that we have found, might as well also forget the radioactive and carbon dating techniques we use to date these fossils, and throw out that the Supreme Court does not allow Intellegent Design (just a fancy term for creationism) to be taught in schools because it is not science. Just throw all that out Ben Stein, and you on your personal crusade to prove to America that people who lose their jobs on evolution-friendly magazines for writing or being responsible for creationist materials in their media is a horrible disjustice is somewhat just. I reject this movie in all my heart, based on the fact that Creationists are made out of mud. They are scum and do not understand evolution. I have seen and heard creationists like Bill O’Reilly, Kurt Cameron, Kent Hovind, and many others state their case picking evolution apart. When in reality they use low blow tactics that dont disprove anything based on their lack of knowledge on the science. And Ben Stein making this mockery of a movie will probably get what he deserves; a place in the hearts of all right wing evangelical christians that still believe this world is 6000 years old and the dinosaurs were either placed here by Satan to test us or were here 3000 years ago. And Ben Stein will end up getting his own show on Fox News and i will end up being befuddled and insulted by his comments that are posted on youtube for years to come as i am by Bill O’Reilly.
Okay sorry i just had to vent, just one long paragraph.

Over the past few days i’ve been running well, prolly the best i’ve ever have on the internet. Since last weekend im up over a thousand dollars. i took a break today didnt feel like playing, well couldnt really play due to internet problems which lead me to really looking forward to the summer. Im also in need of a new computer as my laptop monitor is falling apart. Anyways i might play this afternoon before i go out and get drunk. so this was a little update on how i’ve been doing and i have some other things i wanna get off my chest which i will in the near future.

Also over the past week the Calzaghe-Hopkins fight was debated, a lot. From the verdict, to the post fight interviews, every part of the fight was debated even this:

April 20, 2008
Today, well, yesterday was probably one of the best days i’ve had in a while. I played and won a charity poker tourney, had Calzaghe beat Hopkins, and watched a great UFC 83. I plan on touching on all of those in this blog entry. I apologize ahead of time if it what im trying to say doesnt come out clearly, i am a little hungover and still drunk from the 7 rum and cokes i had following GSP victory over Matt Serra.
—————-
For the past few weeks i have been told about this charity poker tournament that my flag football teammate was holding for his charity. I was on the fence about going due to the fact it was at 5 and Cal-B-Hop and UFC 83 were on the same night. But when i heard the main prize, which was a Nintendo Wii i was there in a heartbeat. It wasnt because i wanted a Wii soo badly, i have a ps3 i rarely use, but i would either pawn it or sell it to a friend for like 200.
I get a call about 430 from my roommate whos already there, telling me to hurry up because it started at 5. I initially wasnt going to go so early, but when he told me to hurry up, i thought their were a lot of people there and i might not be able to sign up if i didnt get there quick. I get there around 4:45 and see about 20 EAE???????? guys from the frat that was sponsering the event and then 12 random people. 2 of which being my housemate and a friend. And i get told that the Wii won’t be up for grabs unless magically 20 more non-frat kids show up. I initially am pissed and then look around at the people i am with in the room and laugh. Not becasue they are complete losers which i dont think they are(if anything i was the biggest loser there, lol.) but how bad they looked. I mean they just looked like fish. And like i usually do i begin to act cocky as fuck.
One of my worst and best attributes at the table is that i am extremely cocky when i am playing with people that i have no respect for on the felt. It happened last weekend with the 4 person tourney i played and i felt it was happening here and luckily i held in my arrogance a little bit. Now what ended up happening with the tourney was it was going to be a $10 buy in and everyone would start with $75 in chips. Since there were not enough non-frat guys for the Wii to be up for grabs the fraternity brothers would be allowed in. So about 20-24 players were playing the majority of them being frat members and complete meatheads (not saying this about all frat members just some of these guys gave fraternitys a bad name). I sat down and to my left is my housemate sean and to my right are fraternity people. And to my surprise there was an automatic dealer. Right there i was glad i played.
Now this tourney was horribly promoted, run, and set up. I had about 6 players at my table while another had 9 and the other had about 7. I mean talk about even numbers. And i look at how the chips were given to us, white-$1 red-$2 green-$3 blue-$4 black-$5. I mean this not only was stupid as fuck but horrible when it would come down to counting out chips. COMPLETELY UNECCESSARY. WHY NOT HAVE SOME WHITES for $1, REDS FOR $5, and BLues for $10. but what i found funny is how the tourney “director” justified it “i feel it give me the most use out of the chips.” now i never fought this but i knew from right there that there was no one from that fraternity that knew anything about poker. Now from the start i use my knowledge about position, tells and just plan old experience to win hands. I win unchallenged pots pre and on the flop. My big hand was probably the key to my victory. I was in the CO with AA, i had previously raise 2 straight hands and i reaised again. this time getting called in the BB. the flop is Qc4c8s. Now initially i get nervous for a set but then remember it is 6 handed and look who im playing against. And the BB immediately after the flop is laid out moves all in for atleast! 3x the pot size. I call instantly and refuse to have the dealer make us count out our chips. The villain was basically drawing dead with KJ and not a single club. That won me a big pot and had me cruising to the final table.
At the final table i was picking my spots amongst really awful players. I mean it reminded me of the old days when i would scream and yell when ever someone would suck out. Except now having 5 years experience under my belt those actions made me cringe. And numerous times on suckouts i had to cover my ears to withstand the noise. I get one guy who i think bluffed me earlier at my first table move all in after a horrible bad beat utg and everyone folds and people beg for someone to call and i look in the bb with AKs. i immediately call and dominate the villians K5s. I end up losing to a flopped 5 and lose over half my stack. Meanwhile the opponents at the final table chat to themselves and towards me at the horrible beat i took and that i would be on such tilt. And i just laugh on the inside on how awful these players are and with 44 chips left i should still be able to win this tourney. And that i did i picked great spots to win the blinds and double up. i won a basic flip with AJs vs, KQo. and had my top pair K beat a pair of 9s after the flop. And i won heads up against the guy that must have sucked out atleast 5-6 times at the final table and screamed louder than any person i have ever seen playuing poker in my life after winning. The winning hand for me was A6s and i held against J7o. I ended up winning 2 best buy gift certificates totalling near 50 bucks and a 30 dollar gift certificate to longhorn.
After the tournament walking home i just felt so good about myself and my game. I mean throughout my career in poker i’ve always let off to people that i feel i am so much better than my opponents and this and that. But after tonight and my last couple sessions i’ve really noticed a change in my game. I really consider myself a completely new player. I touched onthis 2 days ago on my last blog but this tourney really opened my eyes to it. I really now looking back consider my last summer’s success (biggest winnings ever) a fluke and credit most if not all to running great. and it showed in the winter where after not playing for 2-3 months i was extrememly rusty. Granted i was cheated for hundred plus pots on multiple occasions but ifeel now i am above those games. I now feel nearly in any game i sit at whether it is that charity tourney or my .50/1 cash game during last summer or Bob D’angelo’s illegal cash game; i feel like i am better than the competition. And i really feel like if i played this charity tourney last year that i would have lost, i would think i would have an advantage when really all i had is the knowledge of push fold poker. And today with jusd 2 months of solid online poker and studying the game i feel like i see my potential. I always thought i was the best in the world (or let on) and now today it came into full circle and i feel i have the potential to one day maybe (if everything falls into place) be a truly great poker player.

Last night was my most anticipated fight since Hatton-Mayweather, it was the Fighting Pride of Newbridge, Wales Joe Calzaghe vs. The Executioner Bernard Hopkins. Going into this fight i favored Calzaghe to win a Unanimous Decision based on his hand speed, chin, and southpaw style. I just felt it was a bad match up for a fighter like Hopkins who throws 30 punches a round against Joe C’s 80. And leading up to the fight i was nervous as i always am for a big prize fight. And just the thought of what could have been if Hopkins wasn’t the stubborn man he was; having this battle of future Hall of Famers duke it out in Cardiff, Wales; a soccer stadium with 60 thousand screaming Brits. I mean to a full taste of what i mean please watch Kessler-Calzaghe (if u want to see it let me know, i can hook u up). And last night we got a taste a pro-Calzaghe crowd singing and cheering for their favorite fighter. Its reminicent of DLH-Mayweather when everytime Oscar throw a flurry the crowd woudl jump out of their seats and cheer no matter whether or not any of them landed or not. The same happened for Calzaghe.
And despite the first round knockdown, a legit knockdown caused by a brilliant counter-right hand lead by B-Hop; just as i predicted Calzaghe’s workrate caused problems for Hopkins. Everywhere i’ve looked scored the fight for Calzaghe, even pro-Hopkins nuthuggers on the13thround.com (the best boxing forum, media, and articles on the web) admitted their man was beaten by the better fighter. And when that happens in an online community such as the13thround its monumental. Now as i type this a few B-Hop nuthuggers claim that watching the fight without volume would swing the fight in their favor. This is a very common claim among close bouts in boxing;. Whitaker-DLH, Sturm-DLH, and both Taylor-Hopkins bouts have caused arguments like that one. And i believe there is a point to it, but i just dont see it in this bout as Hopkins the 43 year old, just could not edal with the speed, stamina, and youth of the 36 year old welschman. Despite all that Hopkins is a purebread throwback fighter, as he said in his post fight interview with Max Kellerman, yet not a pleasing fighter for the fans. This fight makes big money fights with Felix “Tito” Trinidad and a rematch with Antonio Traver possible and lucrative. Yet the fact that many causal fans of the sweet science do not appreciate his artwork in the ring will deprive him of the chance of REAL mega money fights that include a rematch with Roy Jones Jr. and a rematch with Joe Calzaghe possible. And its a shame because this probably will be the end of Hopkins career due to his legendary contract negotiation tactics.

Hard to believe it but Matt Serra was finally going to be able to make title defense after all. Nearly a year and two months after he “shocked the world” against wunderkid Georges Rush Pierre at UFC 69 in Houston, Texas. It would be in Montreal where he would be facing GSP once again in a hostile crowd 100% pro-GSP. Serra was played off as the bad guy in promotions for the card and was booed horribly in his ring walk. And just as bad as he was booed going into the ring, is how he was beaten in the ring. GSP dominated the Jiu-Jitsu specialist on the ground, on the feet, and on the fence. Everywhere teh fight went GSP won. He ended up winning the fight by TKO in the second round after some BRUTAL, knees to the body that really made me cringe watching from an online stream.
Now after this performance it is hard for me to think of another fighet in the 170 lb division that can even give GSP a fight. I mean Fitch has walked through everyone he was faced, but is half the wreslter Koscheck is and Kos was outwrestled by GSP. Fitch who proabbly will get the next title fight around UFC 87-88 relies soo heavily on his wrestling. And it will hurt him against GSP, cause GSP will take him down beat him up on the ground stand up and prolly kill him on the feet. There is no where in the octagon where Jon Fitch can beat GSP. And the same being said for Thiago Alves who instead is a weak wrestler who has KO power in his knees. Both of whom are great matchups for GSP. But in the 170 lb division imo the worst possible matchup for GSP is Marcus Davis. Yes, i think he poses the biggest threat to GSP’s title. His great hands and kick boxing i think can pose a huge threat to the French-Canadian on the feet and his strength in the clinch should be able to hold of some GSP takedowns. That being said GSP wont stay at 170 long enough for that fight, i expect after victories over Alves and Fitch him to jump up to 185 to challenge Anderson Silva. And i will talk about that fight when it comes.
Other notes coming from UFC 83, was that Bisping looked great at 185 and could be a potential title challenger to Silva. Not that i expect him to win or come anywhere close. His striking looked really good. Danzig’s Jitz and striking looked great against Bocek and i would really like to see Danzig vs Nate Diaz. as i think Danzig poses a lot of threats for Diaz in the cage.

I’ve been on a pretty good run the past few days. I have played a combined 3000 hands and i believe made a significant amount of progress on my game. Now i feel i am able to sniff out bluffs, value bets, and increased my reading ability. Despite not being able to pull the trigger when i felt my opponent turned a set of kings when i had pocket Aces, i feel its improving a lot. I cant say what exactly is the cause of this but i have to attribute it to cardrunners’ videos, reading about poker strategy, the forums on 2+2 and p5s, and just getting the volume in.
For the weekend i am not going to play any online poker, since i tend to not play well. instead i am going to play in a live charity poker tournament at my school and enjoy the fights tomorrow. Which include UFC 83 and the biggest fight this year in boxing Joe Calzaghe-Bernard Hopkins. In case your wondering i am easily picking Calzaghe to outpoint Hopkins based on his speed, chin, and boxing skills.

I played a good session today, makes my second straight. After losing 70% of my roll on the weekend i seem to be making good plays and not going into tilt.
I started the session a buy in down when some donk 3-bet shoved over my pf raise with A9o i called the 40 more with my QQ and of course i lose. But from them i started grinding back up and eventually made it a winning session.
overall i think i play better playing while listening to podcasts whether poker or not, i have a good amount that update daily and it really helps with the boardem of 4 tabling. and it keeps my mind on poker for the most part.
this week also opened up my religious mind even more recently finishing the bible i really wanted to find evidence that Jesus Christ existed and just the discoveries that i found were astonishing. Horace, DIonysis and many other pagan gods share a lot of key characteristics with Yezuah. It may also be that Jesus is just the human form of worshipping the sun, as Thomas Paine said. Now i know people dont share this religious stance with me and am open for a debate on this topic. And just talking about Jesus not existign for some reason makes me cry, same thing with looking up conspiracy theories on Tupac’s death. I also can’t look at paintings of Jesus with out getting goosebumps and terrified (like im scared that jesus will be at the other side of a door waiting for me). anyways i’m pretty convinced that my american christian background where we are taught from an extremely young age of the life of jesus brainwashed me to prevent me from becoming what i now admit i am, an atheist!

Home Game Victory
So today after my little debacle online and getting a few drinks in me i get asked to play a live home game. after thinking about it i agree thinking maybe 8-10 people and i should win. well 4 showed up me, my housemate sean, and two other guys. First let me start by saying i kind of rigged it, knowing that i was by far the best player at the table i decided early to set up chips, i set them up for 20k in each stack. with blinds starting at 25/50 i knew i would have a significant advantage over 3 other casual players. Before i start going into the game im a name each player 1, 2, and 3 #1, then 2 and sean is 3. Okay, the game begins with player 2 completely donking off half his stack to player 1 in a laughable move. And then he goes on to claim he has no chips and has to push with any two cards (dont worry he didnt). then with the button and position i begin to raise every pot i could taking down many pre flop pots and my c-bets worked well too. I get into a little arguement over a friend of player 3 and his success on online poker i spoke that he was down 300 atleast and playing sngs waay above what he should be, but i was quickly stabbed down claiming i was incorrect. I backed off seeing i was a little out of line, as player 1 asked player 3 if he was good and somehow i went on to say what i believe after i was asked too.

you be the judge. Player 3 thinking im not smart enough to back up what i say. lol. Anyways back to playing; i get A6s on the btn, player 1 limped to my left i raise the pot 4x cause of the limper. everyone folds except player 1. Flop is Kd2s5d, player 1 checks i bet 2/3 of the pot and i get a call. turn is a 6h and it goes check check. river is a 8 ofc and it goes check check. i take down a decent pot as player 1 had J3d. Nothing really happening until i get JJ in the btn, reraise and initial raise from player 1 3x. player 1 calls. flop is 872 he leads out i reraise and after thinking and claiming he knows he has me beat mucked it. He claimed to have AK and he might have but he played it weak if he did especially 4 handed. Now keep in mind that during this game i have stolen almost every blind with little to no resistence. So again i raise this time in the sb 3x with KTo to an unlimped pot. player 3 in the bb, then reraises me 3.5x and stares at me. When i mean stare i mean look directly at me! i kind of laughed because this cat was letting me steal his blinds all day, and he wants to reraise me when he should know that i would have fired a c-bet on the flop if he just flatted. Now with him looking at me i murmer things like i probably have u and ur making a play and i see him get nervous the look in his eyes of sheer determination to force me off the hand, looked more like hate. i then realize that if indeed he had a decent hand he prolly had me beat and mucked telling him nice hand. And then so proudly took a deep breath out and showed his cards of Q7s, claiming he had made a huge bluff trying to rub it in my face. LOLOLOL inside i was laughing hysterically im sure a few chuckles came out of my mouth i ended up just saying you outplayed me congratualtions and nice hand. then the 2 other noobs claim i will be on tilt, player 3 the bluffer correctly tells them he wont but if it was 72 then i would be. in reality i would have laughed harder if he did it with 72, which he actually calls the beer hand something i never knew. Soon enough player 3 open shoves with over 13m 4 handed with QQ and the bb who barely had him covered player 1 called with AJo. this was a play from both points of view i dont understand. an ace fell on the flop and player 3 was eliminated. Player 3 who i believe to be the second best player of the table just could not establish himself as niether tight nor loose. i could tell he wanted to run the table but my aggressive nature just wouldnt let it happen. he plays his cards too much and not the situation dispite telling me he plays the man in live games. imo he needs to learn to play situations especially short handed cause unless he gets hit with the deck he wont make any noise. But im sure in a full ring game he can compete but will ultimately be a losing player because he likes to play flops and sharks like me will eat him for dinner all day he’s the type of player i want to see across from me at casinos, cocky and confident yet no real idea how to play. Now the blinds are 300/600 and i have the vast majority of chips and by now i decide to raise every pot preflop and i take everyone down. By the 5th straight hand on the btn i raise and decide why even look at my cards if these noobs just want to wait for AA or KK. and by the third time i do that i get reshoved all in by player 1, now he didnt have many chips but i still felt shocked. adn i look down at AKo and call and i had him dominated as he was making a hero play with A6o. now i have no fault for his play for he claimed i didnt have a hand but there was still no reason for him to shove just 3x my raise and most likely i muck. but not with Ak i win and dont get fucked and i get heads up with this bimbo whos a complete idiot at the table. he doesnt even follow the word nit noob so hes a fucking idiot at poker. who previously i have heard he plays for “high” stakes and now he buys in for 10 dollar extravaganza. so heads up i continue my streaking of uncontested pots and i make it 10 times in a row before i get called preflop. i have the btn with ATo. the flop is KJ2 check check turn A he checks i lead out 2/3 of pot he shoves. Now even thought i have a clear diffinitive chip advantage if i lose this i could lose this tourney and imo i played flawless throughout. so instead of snap calling i decide to try to put him on a hand and call out hands that beat me to see his reaction. either way unless he does something that tells me he has whast i call out im calling. but i do this just to make sure calling out AQ, AK, KJ, KQ, QT, etc player 1 watching is begging me to just call and i finally do and he shows Q6 which just befuddle me and he misses his T on the river as i win the 40 dollars. Afterwards i felt somewhat embarrassed as i feel i acted like a complete pompous asshole telling people to put their blinds in, stop talking and play, and putting down my opinions on certain players. but really thats what i do when i play live games unless theres a g or 2 at a table. i have a tendancy to speak my mind at the home game tables and maybe it was the booze (onyl 2nd time drinking) or maybe not i was a bit of an asshole. Now i have a conundrum on saturday do i go to this charity tourney for 20 bucks for a chance at a Wii, which i will just pawn off anyways? i really dont know but i’ll prolly go unless the internet magically allows me to stream fights on weekends. Anyway lets hope for some online luck when i sit on monday, and for my boys playing tomorrow in the sunday majors.
ohh and also, glen johnson got jobbed
okay my last sesh and random shit
so my most recent session which was supposed to be a 2 3 hour shift day was absolutely horrendus. The play was extremely awful, i couldnt c-bet today and was forced to play like a fucking nit. on top of that of the 900 hands i didnt hit a set, flush, or straight. I had Aces and Kings twice which i didnt see much to any action, then QQ just fucked me and i had to fold after guys catch their A or K on flop. AQ and AK i must have gotten atleast 10x sometimes winning me meaningless pots other losing me huge. I would flop a K, wth AK and turn my A for top 2 and i get some noob flattng my utg pf raise with AA. that shit drives me insane. And on one hand i flatt a rase on the btn with 87d and the flop is 6h5h2s, now the initial raiser leads out for 3/4 of the pot call planning to raise with either a heart or a 9. the turn is a 10h, and he checks i lead out 12 in 18dollar pot and he only has 19 left. knowing if he has two high cards he should much immedately which is what i figured he’d do. No i get a shove im pot committed to his raise and he shows AsKh, iim like WTF!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! and about to kill myself because i made a great read figed thats what he had and he shoves with nothing trying to bluff me out wth 6 dollars. that sums up my session and i wll never play on weekends again, the games are toooooo fuckng crazy for a tigh aggressive player who thrives on c-bets and set mining to play. time to get drunk and hopefully stream teh cotto and castllejo fights tonight
i finally saw all the good movies in 2007 that i wished to see. i have made my top 10 list
1. michael clayton
2. there will be blood
3. no country for old men
4. into the wild
5. juno

My boxing previews
Cinton-Margarito: i see this fight as much the saame as their last encounter. Margarito with decent power for a big 147 is facing a big puncher huge for the 47 lb division. Cintron since the fight has moved camp to Emmanuel Steward and the Kronk Gym where he has looked terrific up until his last fight against journeyman Jesse Feliciano most widly known for his wars with Alfonso Gomez and KO of CT prospect Delvin Rodriguez. Now if he looks like that he will get KTFO against Margo. Antonio hasnt looked great either marked with inactivity and suspect performance. Against Clottey looked horrible and if it wasnt for a broken hand on clotty he would have lost, and then he lost to Williams the volume puncher. CIntron’s chin suspect and Margarito hasnt looked great but he just has to land a power shot on the chin and Kermit the frog will cry in sorrow once again.
Cotto-Gomez: the biggest mismatch of the night as the contenders alfonso gomez takes on top 10 p4p fighter miguel cotto. No mistery here as cotto will wear down and KO alfonso prolly around the 5-8th rounds.
on Showtime they show a Light-Heavyweight Doubleheader
Dawson vs. Johnson: This fight will be the best fight of the Showtime broadcast tonght. Johnson a terrific pressure fighter who is wiley veteren who has gotten better with age. he is facing the future star of Gary Shaw Promotions and is a favorite to win. But i dont see it that way, Glen is a vet who has fought multiple future hall of famers including Bernard Hopkins, Antonio Traver, and Roy Jones Jr. I think Glen will wear down Dawson and win a lopsided UD or a late TKO.
Tarver-Woods: this doesnt deserve much time to talk about because it will be a snoozefest that im leanign toward Clinton Woods to win a close UD.

—-In the past few weeks my poker pankroll has been up and down, and over the last 24 hours i planned on sitting at .25/.50 NLHE for 6 tables and grind the roll up to 3k. At 3k i can use correct bankroll managemean sitting at a table i have over 30 buy ins for. However i recently sat 6 tables at .25/.50 and the games are a joke. I just couldnt take it seriously, an i am angry about it. Because sitting there i feel so much better than anyone at the table, i feel like a shark amongst goldfish (must be where they get the overused expression card shark from). Despite having a huge advantage, i could feel myself playing looser and too aggressive. My game is more tight aggressive i dont agree with some of the training sites style of play in cash game scenarios despite the fact that they are succesful with the strategy. The strategy i am talking about of course is with very aggressive on the button with a limped pot with suited connectors, weak aces, and what not. my opinion on that is set mine with low-mid-semi big pairs. those hands include 22-JJ, maybe QQ. i believe in this because many times i get QQ and on an 8 high board i get cooler with my opponent having KK. You must play the player, and if you do not have PokerTracker and Poker Ace Hud while multi tabling cash games you will have a difficulty succeeding at higher limits. Dont get me wrong cardrunners videos have improved my game a ton, i just disagree on some of the ways muddywater, sixpeppers, and p3achy play. Im going to take tomorrow off and play the cash games at .50/1 on Full tilt and try to build my bankroll for the summer. Because this summer it looks more and more likely i will not have to get a job and i will be able to play online al summer. and this is when i want to put in a lot of volume like 6-8 hours a weekday and if i get the role up maybe satty in some of the sunday majors. Of course this is what i hope to happen, and hopefully i will be able to act upon it.
—- Just in the past 20 minutes deposited my first money on Bodog and plan to start betting on boxing. Hopefully i will be successful because i am very confident in my knowledge on the sport and should be able to turn a profit.
—- Yesterday in Spain, my favorite soccer club FC Bayern Munich won an epic game against Getafe. The game included an early exit for a Getafe defender, great goals, Extra Time, and a comback. If you are soccer fan i recommend to catch the replay on FSC saturday at 11am.
Some things off my chest
Seattle just got sweeped by the fucking baltimore orioles. just when they were getting preseason hype to win the west i was thinking about paying attention to them this season. So when i see Putz blow a save and go on the DL, then Bedard mmiss a start. and the worst bullpen ever assembled in major league baseball history decides to come out of the closet im pretty angry. im just hoping for one of my favorite american sports teams to do well.
the memphis-kansas game just finished watching it on my dvr, hate commercials. all i can say is im a huge fan of d-rose and cdr. memphis is by far super athletic but kansas and super mario were just fuckng clutch.
also with this blog im a stop posting about every session i have, i dont want this to be a boring old poker blog like my usual opponent on FT full ring cash games allyasia, go google it its fucking boring as shit. so im a occasionally post about a hand that occurs because i would like advice. but also anything i get worked up about which happens alot. and expect it to happen this weekend with some big fights coming up. So thats whasts gonna be happening i’ll check in prolly or hopefully once a day or every two days with and update on my online poker struggle and just life in general.
Session for 4/07/08
Today i had a great session after an opening rough hand i got hit with the deck. Ended up about 100, but could have been more if i could play another 500 hands. but im satisfied with 100.

—- The weirdest hand of my session; i reraised in the sb to get the reraiser all in and the initial button raiser out. I thought rogoball wasnt as strong as he was with AK, i thought he was trying to steal it and i wanted him out so i could isolate AKcris who i thought had QQ. Unfortunateley rogobal called with AK, after i reraised a hand i probably would have threw away in his situation. But he call and i was a big dog to Rogoball.
